A Patrick Doyle, cousin, almost certainly of Laheen, was staying with Bernard and Helen.³ She was listed as a member of the household of Bernard Doyle in the 1940 census at 8 Longview Avenue, White Plains City, New York, New York, U.S.A..⁸

Bernard and Helen are shown leaving Ireland 2/10/1953 and entering New York 10/10/1953. They travelled on M.V. Geordic. Note Bernie Doyle thought this was in 1950. If he was correct, this is not the right couple.^11,12,10
